Adria was a little butterfly for halloween. She had lots of fun trick-or-treating, and was trying to hand her candy out at the same time to other trick-or-treaters that we would pass by on the sidewalk. Her pants were supposed to be purple sweat pants, but they got lost in the laundry. O well!
The big pumpkin that Adria is carving, was grown in our back yard. It was the only big one we got. Adria gave it tender loving care all the time though, and would hug it and pat it. I guess it grew because she loved it?

new boots

I went and bought Adria some new boots last night. She wore them all night until she went to bed. This morning when I went to wake her up, the first thing she said was "shoes!" Then she ran over to her shoe bucket, still a little sleepy eyed and morning shakey, and pulled out her boots. She had feet pajamas on, so she proceeded to take them off, and has been running around naked with her boots on all day since! Why is it that new shoes are so exciting?
Chris and I bought some new shoes too, and Chris was wearing his around the house, and I have been wearing mine too today. LOL

Smith's at Lake Powell

Matt, Abigail, Mattison, Annie, and Mazie the pirates.

Here's few pics from Lake Powell. It was a nice way to end the good weather. As you can see, Cowboy wasn't quite sure what to think of the waves. He had so much fun chasing and biting them. When Matt and the girls were all in the little raft they were pretending to be pirates, and we would throw mud cannon balls at them. They had a lot of fun with that. The sand was a big hit too. We made sculptures, and castles, and just had a lot of fun.

Tonia & Makensie

What a great idea to have a family blog! Well, my family is short and sweet...just me and Makensie :-) Makensie is 7 and in 2nd grade. She loves everything from fishing (as you can see) to art, art, and more art. We only went on one camping trip this summer to the Flaming Gorge, it was a lot of fun. While Kensie is busy with school and whatever activity she's up to, I keep busy with work. I'm a Planner for a company that makes medical lasers. It's a pretty good job, I like it. But my favorite job is when I get off work and pick up my kid :-) I'm so thankful to have her. We're a small family, but a happy one!

Morgans!!

Hey here we are!! Savannah is 2, and full of fire. Lots of fun, talks like she is going on 30 and has an imagination beyond the wildest fairy tale! She is half of the light of my life, Dechlin being the other half.Dechlin is getting big, weighs in now at 16.4 lbs. and about 25 inches long. He is 3 1/2 months old and so much fun. He laughs and smiles at everything, is soo happy all the time. He doesn't cry unless I don't hear him grunting for food! LOL!

We had an ice cream treat today, and boy did they enjoy it!
I am not sure if they got more on their faces than in their faces, but they didn't care! We just stuck em' in the sink afterward, there was to much to just wipe off. LOL
I think these bath pictures capture just how much fun these little ones have together. They had to make sure all their body parts were clean, arms and legs!
Funny munchkins!

Thanks everyone for posting! I really hope we can keep up to date with everyone's family adventures and see everyone's little ones.

We are going to Yellowstone tomorrow!! I'm hoping to get some fun pictures to share. I got a cute vid of Kass playing with one of our dogs Gage tonight and I threw on some random pics. I hope I'm technically savy enough to figure out how to post the dang video thing LOL!

So for those of you that dont know, how bout a little update with my little family??? My daughter Kassidy is 21 months and is deffinately full of what you would call spit and vinegar, but she is so fun and so sweet. I love being a mother. Kyle is a deputy for the Salt Lake Sheriff's office. His location is Millcreek thankfully. It is a very busy area, but not as much action and trouble as other area's he has worked. I have two boxers, Casper and Gage. They are SO good with Kassidy and are good to keep me feeling safe when Kyle is away working.

I have one horse Smokey. I got him for $50 when he was a baby and have raised and trained him.

I am working at Verizon Wireless as a National Business Associate. To this day I still dont know what my job description is, I swear it changes day to day LOL!

Well that's it. Sorry for talking your ears off. I just thought it would be nice to give everyone an update.

Great pics Julia and Tara!! You have such beautiful families :)
